Tattooing in Hawaii since 2010 has definitely immersed me into a melting pot of tattooing styles such as Polynesian tribal, Japanese, neo-traditional and not to mention the many flowers and Hawaiian Islands. But pencil drawing was the catalyst that brought out my love for realism. Usually, when people want a realistic piece whether it be a portrait or scenery, object or animal; it means more than what money can buy. Tattooing these pieces means as much to me as it means to my clients. The human experience connected to this art is what overwhelmingly captivates me, it is what fuels my fascination and eagerness to test the limits of my abilities, and it is why I strive to do my best and try my utmost to always steadily improve. Understanding why, and developing the how is what brings me joy in this art medium. There are never bad ideas, just bad execution… and I am confident in executing your ideas.
